I don’t really follow the news these days, there seem to be too much negativity. It seems like recently there has been some commotion around the Pink Dot events though, but it doesn’t bother me one bit.
I’ve grown up with straight and gay people, and to me they are just another human being, like myself. They are childhood neighbors, schoolmates, good friends I go for a beer with, and sometimes because of their different lifestyles they see a different perspective than I do, and I appreciate that.
What matters the most is love between two beings. Because whoever said you had to confine love to just between a man and a woman?
Love is something so simple yet so huge, you can’t paint a picture of it with just four letters. It is the basis of any and every good that materializes.
It is so much more than we can ever say in words, and if one human being loved the other, how can we possibly ever say no to that?
I’ve forgotten the exact date I met Cheryl, but I knew that it was going to be something special. And when Taylor brought out the ring and dropped to one knee, I gave a mini pump fist in my heart.
Love wins, always.
