A couple of months ago these I met and photographed two beautiful souls who came to Singapore just to hold their wedding – Rachel is from Korea and Andi, from Indonesia. We’ve never met until a few days prior to the wedding, yet there was always something that kept me in anticipation to the wedding. It’s always the personalities of the people I photograph that draw me to them, how they are genuinely in love with each other, the quiet unspoken things that you could only feel.
Rachel personally designed her invites, whilst her flowers and decor were done by her aunt, while she and Andi were solemnized by their uncle who was a pastor at Vineyard at Hort Park – and that was how personalised their wedding was. There wasn’t anything extraordinarily fancy, just a simple heartfelt ceremony followed by an intimate dinner with their closest family and friends, but it was such a privilege to be a part of it.
